The Swap is by Megan Shull and it is amazing!!!!!
Ellie is about to be in seventh grade and spends
the summer before getting dumped by her best friend who had gotten to be really mean. Fun summer!
Jack is about to be in eight grade and he spends the summer with his really tough brothers in THE CAGE!!! DON....DON.......DON!!!! (It isn't actually a cage)
When school starts both of them have a tough start. So, one day Ellie is wising she was someone else and Jack is thinking that life would be lots easier as a girl and then, the switch bodies! Now is Ellie is Jack and Jack is Ellie! Oh no! Now Ellie is stuck going at five am runs with Jack's brothers and Jack is stuck dealing with Ellie's former best friend who won't stop talking about Ellie(And not in a good way).
They slowly start to realize that being yourself is hard, but being someone else is A LOT harder.
Ellie and Jack learn more about themselves and each other. I am not going to tell you the end but what can tell you is that it will most definitely surprise you!
